In the current version, compatible images are converted directly inside your browser. The core converter does not intentionally upload those images to ConvertixLab servers.
Introduction
ConvertixLab Image Converter provides online tools for converting and processing image files. This Privacy Policy applies when you visit, access or use the ConvertixLab website and its available tools.
By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you should stop using the service.
How selected images are processed
The current version of ConvertixLab processes supported JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP images locally within the browser using browser technologies such as Canvas, object URLs and image-decoding APIs.
Under this local-processing workflow:
- Selected images remain on your device during conversion.
- The core converter does not intentionally transmit the selected image files to ConvertixLab servers.
- Temporary browser memory and local object URLs may be used to preview and generate converted results.
- Temporary conversion data is normally removed when you clear the files, refresh the page or close the browser tab.
Some future formats or advanced tools may require server-side processing. If that happens, this Privacy Policy and the relevant tool interface will be updated to explain how files are transferred, processed and deleted.
Information we may collect
ConvertixLab does not currently require an account to use the basic image converter. However, certain technical information may be collected automatically when you visit the website.
This may include:
